VB script to toggle the status of User Account Control in Windows Vista, 7 and Windows 8. Basically disables UAC without restating the Computer.

User Account Control (UAC) is a technology and security infrastructure introduced with Microsoft’s Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008 operating systems, with a more relaxed version also present in Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2.

It aims to improve the security of Microsoft Windows by limiting application software to standard user privileges until an administrator authorizes an increase or elevation. In this way, only applications trusted by the user may receive administrative privileges, and malware should be kept from compromising the operating system.

In other words, a user account may have administrator privileges assigned to it, but applications that the user runs do not inherit those privileges unless they are approved beforehand or the user explicitly authorizes it.

But UAC annoys at lot. To overcome this situation HackSys Team presents a script that you quiet or suppress the UAC prompts.

UAC Toggle helps you to disable the UAC prompts permanently /temporarily.

For users that are using Remote Control software like Microsoft Live Meeting (Microsoft Easy Assist) will have to wait for the next version of this script because after disabling the UAC, if the user is in remote session with Microsoft Easy Assist makes no effect and the user will have to do a restart the Computer for disabling the UAC effect.

For any bugs, please leave a comment so that we could try to fix it as soon as possible.

Thanks and Regards,

I do not leave a great deal of comments, but i did some searching and wound up here UAC Toggle v1.0 | HackSys Team. And I actually do have a few questions for you if you do not mind. Could it be simply me or does it look like a few of these remarks come across as if they are written by brain dead individuals? 😛 And, if you are posting on other online sites, I’d like to follow anything new you have to post. Could you make a list of all of your communal pages like your Facebook page, twitter feed, or linkedin profile?

How about silencing UAC prompts by just turning off the UAC to begin with? I don’t understand what this script is actually desgined to do. Please, update . . .
